PATERSON--The Kean softball team recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, spending July 15 helping to construct a two-family home in Paterson as part of Women Build. The 25 players and coaches assisted on the two-family home that has a handicap unit on the lower level. They also helped install the Styrofoam insulation for the Energy State Certified unit.

EWING—Former TCNJ women’s basketball player Hillary Klimowicz recently signed a one-year professional contract to play with the SDENT Nyon, which is a member of the First Division in the Switzerland League. Klimowicz, a 6-3 center, will join SDENT Nyon for the 2010-11 season with the team coming off of a very successful season in which they advanced to the league finals. She plans on heading to Europe in mid-August to begin training for the upcoming season.
