Greene earns the first NJAC Men’s Basketball Player of
the Week selection after averaging a double-double 20.0 points and 12.5
rebounds during Stockton’s two wins which clinched the championship of the
Johns Hopkins Blue Jay Invitational. He opened his senior season by
notching a double-double 22 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting .692
(9-13) from the field in the Ospreys’ season-opening 91-62 first round win
over New York City Tech. He wrapped up the tournament by recording a
double-double 18 points and 15 rebounds, while adding four steals in
Stockton’s 78-74 overtime championship game win over the host Blue Jays.
Greene, who shot .600 (15-25) combined in the two victories, currently
leads the NJAC in rebounding with an average of 12.5 boards per game. |

Williams earns the first NJAC Men’s Basketball Rookie
of the Week honor after averaging 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game
during a pair of contests at Susquehanna’s Pepsi/Weis Markets Tournament.
He opened his collegiate career by notching 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting
from the field and 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range, while adding
seven rebounds and four assists in Kean’s 87-80 overtime loss to the host
Crusaders. He wrapped up the tournament by notching 12 points, two
rebounds, and two steals in Kean’s 88-53 consolation game win over Penn
College. Williams, who shot .640 (16-25) combined in the two contests,
currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage
(.778). |
