PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Jon Greene, Richard Stockton College

Greene earns the first NJAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week selection after averaging a double-double 20.0 points and 12.5 rebounds during Stockton’s two wins which clinched the championship of the Johns Hopkins Blue Jay Invitational. He opened his senior season by notching a double-double 22 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting .692 (9-13) from the field in the Ospreys’ season-opening 91-62 first round win over New York City Tech. He wrapped up the tournament by recording a double-double 18 points and 15 rebounds, while adding four steals in Stockton’s 78-74 overtime championship game win over the host Blue Jays. Greene, who shot .600 (15-25) combined in the two victories, currently leads the NJAC in rebounding with an average of 12.5 boards per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK  

Keith Williams, Kean University

Williams earns the first NJAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week honor after averaging 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game during a pair of contests at Susquehanna’s Pepsi/Weis Markets Tournament. He opened his collegiate career by notching 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range, while adding seven rebounds and four assists in Kean’s 87-80 overtime loss to the host Crusaders. He wrapped up the tournament by notching 12 points, two rebounds, and two steals in Kean’s 88-53 consolation game win over Penn College. Williams, who shot .640 (16-25) combined in the two contests, currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage (.778).
