Wright earns NJAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
honors after averaging 27.0 points and 3.0 assists per game in a pair of
non-conference contests for the Cougars. He first tallied a season-high 29
points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field while adding four rebounds in
Kean’s 77-70 loss to Moravian. Two nights later, he registered 25 points,
five assists, and three steals in the Cougars’ 80-72 defeat to King’s.
Wright, who shot 58 percent from the field in the two games combined,
currently leads the NJAC in scoring with an average of 25.8 points per
game. |

Hassan earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
averaging 11.0 points, and 3.0 steals per game during a pair of contests
at the Salisbury University Optimist Classic. He opened the tournament by
tallying two points and three rebounds in Ramapo’s 88-85 first round loss
to Manhattanville. One night later, he registered 22 points on 8-of-10
shooting from the field while adding six steals and three assists in only
21 minutes of action during the Roadrunners’ 91-68 consolation game
victory over host Salisbury. Hassan currently ranks third in the NJAC in
free throw percentage (.900). |
