Barnes earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after being named to the Sheraton New Year’s All-Tournament team at Albright. He opened tournament play by tallying 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, while adding three assists in a 70-34 first round win over Albany Pharmacy. In the first round win, he became just the tenth men’s player in school history to eclipse the 1,000-career point mark. He wrapped up the tournament by notching 19 points, three assists, and a game-high five steals in an 83-71 championship game loss to host Albright. Barnes currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in scoring with an average of 17.3 points per game.

Williams earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season after helping the Cougars earn a 71-67 non-conference road win over Baruch in their only contest of the week. In the victory, he tallied a team-high 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field, 4-of-4 shooting from three-point range, and 4-of-4 shooting from the charity stripe. He also registered nine points and seven assists in the win which he sealed with four straight free throws to break a 67-67 tie. Williams currently ranks third in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage with a mark of .444.
